  1.   What kind of quality can I expect from your product?
  A.   We pride ourselves in the quality of our tarps. They are built to last and are manufactured under the highest standards.
     Over the years we have identified where tarps are prone to fail and we have perfected our formulas and manufacturing methods to build in quality. This is why our tarps have durable features like seat belt reinforced edges, UV protection and cold-crack protection.

  2.   What differentiates Heavy Duty Tarps from other tarp websites I find online?
  A.   Most tarp retailers sell standard sized tarps that they import from China. They usually include grommets around the edges but you have no choice in grommet spacing.
     All of our tarps are custom made so you can order the tarp in the exact size that you require. Even if you need your tarp to be cut in a special shape, such as a circle or a triangle, that's no problem for us. If you want grommets at specific locations to line up with your fasteners, etc. just let us know where you want them. If you need special fasteners such as Velcro or zippers, we do that too. If you have a special requirement that is not listed on our site, chances are we can accommodate you so be sure to contact us if you have specific needs.

  3.   Do your tarps come with any warranties?
  A.   Our tarpaulins have warranties against failure as a result of a manufacturing defect for a period of one year. Since our tarps are often used under extreme and/or abusive conditions, unfortunately, we cannot warranty against tearing, etc.

  5.   How do heavy duty tarps compare to other kinds of tarps?
  A.   When compared to polypropylene tarps you can expect our tarps to last much longer and maintain their waterproof integrity for a much greater length of time. The specifics will depend on the application but it is not uncommon for our 18oz vinyl tarps to last 15 to 30 times longer than typical polypropylene tarps.

  7.   How do your prices compare to other companies?
  A.   Our prices compare favorably to most tarp retailers. When comparing prices on your own be sure to compare similar products or 'apples-to-apples'. While our tarps cost more that of lower quality tarps, you're paying for the quality and durability of our product. They are built to last a long time and as the saying goes "you get what you pay for".

  8.   How long will it take for my order to be filled?
  A.   We fill most orders within 10 business days. Nevertheless, there are some periods where it can take up to 3 weeks or more to fill new orders. Our busy seasons are the spring and fall so please allow extra time for orders during these seasons. If you need your order filled urgently, please indicate when you need your tarp(s) in the order notes and we will try to accommodate you or let you know if we can't complete your order in time.

  9.   How long can I expect to wait until my order is delivered?
  A.   We will ship your order as soon as it is made using either FedEx or Purolator ground courier. In central Canada or USA, orders are generally in transit for one to three days. Near the west coast or east coast or southern states, shipping can take up to five days.

  10.   Can I change or cancel my order at any time?
  A.   You can only change or cancel your order before it has been put into production.
     If we have not yet made your tarp you can cancel your order for a full refund or you can adapt your order if necessary. If your changes make a difference in the cost of your order you will either be charged or credited for the difference.

  11.   Can I cancel my order once it has been filled (but not shipped)?
  A.   No, you cannot cancel your order once it has been made.

  12.   If I am not happy with the product can I return it?
  A.   Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns because our tarps are custom made according to your exact specifications. As such, we would generally not be able to sell your returned tarp to anyone else. On rare occasions tarps are shipped with manufacturing defects. If you notice a problem with your tarp when you receive it, please alert us immediately and we will either send you a replacement tarp or pay to have your tarp shipped back to us for repairs.

  13.   How much does shipping cost?
  A.   We offer free shipping throughout USA and Canada (using a ground courier). If you require faster shipping this can be specified on your order. Prices will vary depending on the size/weight of your order and the shipping priority. Sometimes the cost to ship to distant and rural locations can be prohibitive. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge a small shipping fee to offset our costs. You will be notified in advance if extra shipping charges apply and you can cancel your order if you do not wish to pay said charges.
